NICOLE MELPÓMENE.
Hi there I am Nicole, I was born in Portugal and I'm currently living in London.

From a young age, I discovered myself through the films that express the depths of the human condition uncovered with the silence of subtlety... I come from a small village in the countryside, so jazz and literature, in any form, were my main companions to understand sorrow. I moved to Lisbon around my 20s, and I started to live with actors where I started a literature course. Among this bohemian poetic life, I found myself looking for an immaculate truth that could give me a sense of home and belonging, identity. These years were a huge leap towards understanding the colours of my mind.

Years after being in Lisbon, I was accepted into university in Physics.
Physics was always in the back of my eyelashes, as almost the cause of all the rest in me. There is an inexplicable satisfaction of seeing, learning and understanding through math the principles that rule everything around us...
In London while finishing my degree I had the experience of performing and dancing with professionals in the area. It opened a new path for me that is still there waiting to erupt... there is a unique feeling when a body moves through sensations, it really behaves like a beam of light on a wavelength...!

After putting my feet in different ponds, I realized that my bone structure can only relax in its softer shell when it's among animals ... and that's what I'm trying to pursue now... my passion towards learning more about other creatures besides us, by travelling and by being one of them, alongside them...!

I guess, I take all of this and decompose and sediment into the curves of my poses....

To give an introduction of why I started posing, it started as an exploration of nudity, during Covid. I was always curious about how I would feel in front of the nudity of my body as an art form and I quickly fell in love with the scene! Connecting with artists all around the world and making friends and deep connections with models, has definitely been one of the best perks of it! I was a gymnast, so it came naturally, this exposition of the body in weird angles and geometry, which is something that I absolutely love, finding ways of contorting the body into a form that isn't a human, but maybe an abstract fleshy moment, that you can't quite give a name to.

If I had to summarize, I guess my way of posing has always been an act of curiosity to bend and to feel, with intensity.

Excited to get to know you all, love Nicole :)
