Sofía Olarte – Re-framed

SOFÍA OLARTE.

My life has always been marked by a brimming curiosity for everything that exists in this life (from science to the usual: what are we doing here anyway…?), where both music and cinema take the lead!

If I’d needed to say something that drives me crazy: creating gets right out of my mouth! That’s way since my most juvenile times I decided to enroll myself in; theater, violin, ballet, drawing, painting, and so on and forth, and while I was extremely judged by the people who thought that I was ending up like “Jack of all trades” (lol) it, on the contrary, enriched my being, I am who I am now, shaped by a teenager’s freedom to experiment and improvise.

I started posing in-person, always tricky but with a nice advantage: you can get to know who's there with you! A few months after, I decided to do it online, which allowed me to get to a wider public from all over the world.

In 2024 I traveled for the first time to several countries in Europe, the United Kingdom and also...went on a crazy adventure to Buenos Aires and La Patagonia; where I had the chance to meet incredibly talented and beautiful artists. Those adventures opened my heart in indescribable ways.
In 2025 the journey continued and next year there will be more…

Inspired by the fantastic views I've had the chance to see, the stimulating perceptions of each one, and the fascinating art you get to see all over, I keep creating both artistic-references and personal photographic works (which many of them remain unknow…) finding the balance between the abstract and the traditional.

I am Sofía Olarte. I'm an international art model, traveler, aspiring linguist, and photographer. 5 years since I started to model (I can't believe it's already 5 years...).
