Lilian D’Mello is a Filipino-Indian art model with roots in Oman. She began modeling at the age of 14 and later dedicated her practice exclusively to the service of fine artists.
Over the past decade, she has collaborated with painters, sculptors, photographers, and illustrators across India and abroad, advancing an approach that foregrounds the art model as an active co-creator rather than a passive subject.
During the global pandemic, she gained recognition for her Life Drawing sessions on Instagram Live, which enabled artists worldwide to sustain and expand their figurative practice in conditions of isolation.
Her work is further distinguished by innovative session formats that integrate gesture, narrative, and endurance, expanding life drawing beyond traditional academic study.
