GUADI MON.
My name is Guadalupe Montes.
I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina. This is where I’m based.

I’m 28 years old and since I was a little girl, I was inherently drawn to art (maybe like most of us, I felt a calling I couldn’t ignore).

We could say that I was born with a particle in my eye. And it's very particular, if you'll pardon the redundancy. It doesn't bother me. Of course, I've gotten used to it, so I can't say for sure if it ever bothered me.

It does hurt at times, but it hurts in a good way. I mean, because of how deep the particle is.
It works like a kaleidoscope in a way, and that's very beautiful. Having such a particle in your eye is a substantial matter. It is an unparalleled influence, a path. And you cannot ignore it. In that respect, it is like when you get the slightest thing in your eye; clearly, you cannot ignore that there is an external agent there. And this is precisely where the big difference lies: with the particle, there is no urgent need to remove it.

There is no feeling that your life cannot truly continue until you remove it. You could say that it is a compass for life, and to deny it is to live blindly. So creativity has always been a part of me; it is present in every pore of my being. And like any other bodily fluid, it also exudes from my pores, my mouth, my hands. For me, creation is not enough if it is not shared, if it is not expansive. That is why I am here.
Until I became an art model, my main branches were acting and writing. I’ve been studying acting since I was 16 and on and off I participated in writing workshops. Since 2023 I’ve been taking ballet and contemporary dance lessons. All of which I bring to my modeling.

I started modeling in 2019. Back then, I only posed for different in person art workshops such as sculpting, painting and drawing and gestures.

When the pandemic started, I stopped for a while and took that time for writing, painting and regrouping.

In October 2020 I got back to modeling and since then I’ve been creating reference photos for artists, organizing and hosting online sessions (solo and alongside other colleagues) and posing for online drawing groups and workshops (as well as in person here in Argentina).

I have 6 years of experience in art modeling. I combine my knowledge of acting, expressive movement and dancing and I’m always eager to expand my possibilities as an artist and model.
